Carlsbad, CA, May 18, 2011 - Pro2Med, Inc. proudly announces its award of accreditation status by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care, Inc. (ACHC) for Home/Durable Medical Equipment Services.
ACHC, a private, not-for-profit corporation which is certified to ISOO 9001:2008 standards, was developed by home care and community-based providers to help companies improve business operations and quality of patient care. Referring to the value of accreditation, ACHC President Tom Cesar indicated, “The survey process leads an organization to examine its policies and practices continually to clarify its strengths and improve its weaknesses.”

Carlsbad, Ca., Sept. 1 - Pro2Med announced today that Kevin Plihal has been appointed as its President.
Kevin received his graduate degree in business administration with emphasis in international finance from Webster University in St. Louis, MO and is a Registered Respiratory Therapist as credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Prior to joining Pro2Med, Kevin held senior management positions in GE Healthcare, VersaMed Medical Systems, ResMed and Nellcor Puritan Bennett.
He brings over 20 years of both healthcare (hospital based) and management experience from small startup medical companies to multi-billion dollar healthcare organizations and has demonstrated strong leadership in both product and sales channel development in all of his previous positions.
Pro2Med Announces President, USA Sales
Carlsbad, Ca., Sept. 1 - Pro2Med. announced today that Wayne Wrolstad has been appointed President of US Sales.
Wayne received his AS degree in Respiratory Therapy from St. Paul TVI in St. Paul Minnesota and is a Registered Respiratory Therapist as credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Prior to joining Pro2Med, Wayne held senior management positions at eVent Medical, as well as Sales Management and Director of Marketing positions at GE Healthcare, VersaMed Medical Systems, Tyco Healthcare, Respironics and Puritan Bennett. He brings 30 years of both healthcare (hospital based) and management experience from small start-up to large multi-national companies. Wayne has demonstrated strong leadership and management skills in sales, global marketing and medical device product development roles.
